If you ever wanted a TARDIS in your back garden and can’t be bothered to build one like our TARDIS sheddies
I missed this the other day, The gazette and herald reports
A TARDIS is being auctioned off to raise money for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal.
The ten foot tall TARDIS featured on a Doctor Who themed float at Devizes and Pewsey carnivals for Market Lavington firm Elm Tree Fencing & Landscaping.
Elm Tree owners Lisa and Elliott Perrigo would like to sell the TARDIS to the highest bidder with the money going to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal.
Mrs Perrigo said: “It would be a good Christmas present. We’ve had suggestions that it could be used as an allotment shed, portable loo or a children’s playhouse.
“Our float came second in Pewsey Carnival and we will put the £50 we won for that to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal. We would like to raise as much as we can for the appeal so we have set a minimum price of £80 for the Tardis.”
The TARDIS was made from plywood by one of Mr Perrigo’s employees.
It can be viewed and Mr Perrigo said he would deliver it to the successful bidder.
Looks really ugly…
i love the tardis.
Is this a fake T.A.R.D.I.S? ….The one I have has the dimensions stabilized – I have an large swimming pool (with inertial dampners to control wave action)… or are the stabilizers broken? There is no room for controls let alone time travelers or other lifeforms.
