Share your shed and win £1000 from The Cuprinol Wood Preservation Society

The Cuprinol Wood Preservation Society

I am very pleased to announce that Cuprinol has again agreed to sponsor Shed Week 2011 (which starts 4th July 2011) and the ultimate shed competition Shed of the year 2011, in fact their Wood Preservation Society is putting their name to it.. so you can start singing the song NOW.

The Cuprinol Wood Preservation Society

It’s will be the fifth year I have run Shed of the year and will be ten years since I started readersheds.co.uk, and I can’t believe how the online shed community has grown since, so it’s great to have such a well know brand who cares about protecting your sheds as much as the sheddies and I love looking at them.

There will be a £1000 prize for the overall Shed of the year and Cuprinol products for each of the Category winners.

So why not add your shed to one of the Categorys right now!

Normal Shed
Eco Shed
Garden Office
Cabin/Summerhouse
Workshop/Studio
Unique Shed
Pub Shed
Tardis
Hut
Other

Then around May (TBC) next year a public vote will take place and the winner of each category will go forward to a voting panel with judges including sheddies favourite Sarah Beeny Radio 2’s Simon Mayo, Shed Father of modern shedism Gordon Thorburn, me, Alex from shedworking and last years winner Reg sheddie of the Lady Sarah.

So to be in with a chance to not only win some cash but more importantly get the coveted title of Shed of the Year, get over to readersheds and Share your Shed, you need to add a minimum of two photos (but more the better) and information about your shed and what you do in it.

If you have added your shed to readersheds.co.uk in the past you are automatically entered for Shed of the year 2011 (unless you won previously) but make sure you shed is upto date and has some great photos.

The prizes are open to UK entrants only, sorry but I will feature International sheds as well.
