Having a look on amazon for presents for certain people – of course I have every shed book going (sometimes multiple copies, some signed 😉 )
But you can grab yourself a bargain if you want to get your other half into sheds or maybe just drop hints that you are cheap to buy for.
The Bible by former Shed judge Gordon Thorburn Men and Sheds can be picked up used for the silly price of 1p – and is the book every sheddie should have on their bookshelf.
Also the other good shed book Shed Men by Gareth Jones can be picked up used for the same price.
of course I would recommend buying new – as used will probably have tea stains or some cuprinol on the pages – nothing wrong with that but if it’s a gift you will be called cheap.
on the other hand Shed Judge Alex’s book about shedworking, which we never hear him talking about it, can be picked up for around £11 – but Iam sure he has a tonne of these in his shed.
