First it was Songs from the shed – now Forge and Flagon showcase Skinny Lister

Of course last years Shed of the year winner was very much about the music and Ginger troubadour Ed Sheeran co-wrote some of his songs in a shed with Amy Wadge – so it’s all happening musically down the bottom of the garden – even my middle aged Cardiff punks mates Punks not dad where down in the shed before the lot of them ;

Long time friend of readersheds and Sheddie Mandy has emailed me say that the folk band Skinny Lister who have recently signed to BBC’s Rob da Bank Sunday Best Label, and they have their debut LP out in June have named it after her Shed Forge and Flagon.

They sound like a great fun band who are up for a laugh if you look at their recent video!

They also give our these beer mats at gigs promoting their new album and of course Mandy’s shed of the same name 😉

The sessions in the Forge and Flagon set them up for touring domination as they were named by PRS as the hardest working band in the Uk last year doing 30 festivals

You sheddies and sheds are so full of music – bring it on.

Now I wonder if we could have a ShedWeekFest with all shed leaning bands involved? 😉
