Today on twitter the Guardian – launched a campaign for this weekend newspapers – along the lines of #owntheweekend.
The Guardian and the Observer papers are full of even more things to read and do. Ian foolishly tried to do it all at once. Don’t make the same mistake he did.
They show Ian (if that is his real name) doing all sorts of things – but the ending is the most shocking for sheddies – Ian is seen in his underpants saying “The sheds on fire” – this is highly irresponsible and we at Shed of the year don’t condone these actions of this Ian and nor do we of the Guardian News & Media showing that the burning of sheds is a way to spend the weekend – especially if you are a Guardian reader in the London area what with the closure of fire stations.

There is only one response to this and it needs a pair of underpants, a copy of the Guardian and a match.
