What with Shed of the year judges George Clarke and Will Hardie building a cabin on the new series of Amazing Spaces.
I thought I would look at some of the stunning cabins our sheddies have made over the years.
- I will start with this unique one – that is not really a shed let alone a cabin in the normal sense but just shows what you sheddies can do (and what I allow on the site!)
-
HILLBILLY
- The next one looks stunning wish there was more photos
-
THE HOOTING OWL
- How about a cabin built by the whole family that has a cellar underneath
-
THE CABIN
- Not a traditional one this but a finalists in last years Shed of the year – just love the shape
-
JACK SPARROW HOUSE
- A great example of a cabin in your garden that can do all sorts of things for you
-
THE BROKEDOWN PALACE
- If we can saw one thing our American cousins can do cabins and I love this example
-
APPALACHIAN MOUNTAIN MAMA
- I love the colours of this one – plus bonus cat
-
CALYPSO CABIN
- This is what I think of as a cabin – build using what is around the area
-
HOUSE OF FALLEN TIMBERS
- This one was Shed of the year winner way back in 2009 – not only the cabin but the views
KITE CABIN
- Another great tasteful cabin in the woods – this time in New Hampshire
-
THE CHURCH OF GARDENING
- an impressive but massive cabin this one
-
THE CHAPEL
- Finally one on stilts that’s an equilateral triangle
-
THE LODGE
If that collection of amazing cabins does not give you inspiration for creating your amazing space then I don’t know what will
